Its total area is 23.2 hectares, but most of it is covered with reeds, with approximately 5 hectares of open water. The lakebed is varied, ranging in depth from half a meter to 5 meters. The fishing spots are located on the eastern side. The western bank consists entirely of bushes and reeds. Its main fish species are carp and pike. It also has a significant roach population, and almost every typical lake fish can be found in it. By now, its considerable perch population has become something of a rarity.

Access: Heading east from Barcs on Highway 6, after the roundabout turn right towards Zátonytelep. The Nagy-Bók oxbow runs along the western side of the road.

Fishing is only allowed from a total of 50 piers on the eastern side of the fishing water. The use of boats is not permitted.
